Brief History of ECFMPRS:
The abrupt and unexpected decline of Philippine economy during the last quarter of 1983 had greatly affected Permaline Container Corporation (a pioneer in container van manufacturing) and led eventually to its closure. Engr. Eduardo C. Francisco, better known as ECF, was then working for it as Vice-President for Operations and saw the closure as a business opportunity. His expertise and experiences in the field of marine cargo container manufacturing and other related services had encouraged him to establish his own firm.

On April 29, 1985, ECF METAL PRODUCTS AND REPAIR SERVICES came into being and was registered with the Bureau of Domestic Trade.

ECFMPRS aimed high and worked hard to accomplish growth and expansion. Perseverance and dedication to costumers' need and satisfaction were it’s top priorities. Replacement parts for container vans were all done by sub-contractors and sold to end-users. Hence, it paid out. ECFMPRS acquired a seven hundred (700) square meter lot, situated at No. 3 Rajah Soliman Street, Parang, Marikina City where it established its main branch.

As expected, ECF Metals grew by several folds. Influx of costumers satisfied in ECFMPRS’ services were undisputed which obviously accounted for its expansion.

Various capital equipments were also acquired such as Hydraulic Shearing Machine, Hydraulic Bending Machine and 1.5 ton-capacity forklift trucks. Likewise, the adjacent three (3) lots in Raja Soliman Street, with an aggregate area of 2,450 square meters were successively acquired. Hence, additional plant building and improvements were constructed. (Continue here)
